Contact Merge search intermittently returns results

Thanks for the reply. I created a support Case for my issue, which has been 
escalated to T3: Case 
03187307. The gist of the problem is the Search bar in the Contact Merge tab 
works intermittently. 
I have tried it with Firefox and IE8. The T1 and T2 reps were able to recreate 
the issue. There is not 
a pattern, it appears to be completely random.  Sometimes it returns Contacts 
and then in the same 
session using the same search criteria it returns zero, weird. I do think this 
is a wonderful idea that 
many non-profits have asked for. This is a much better alternative that to use 
DemandTools, 
especially for the non-technical users.
