discussed with @seltmann -

To help facilitate 3D model builders, we'd like to enable a point-and-click workflow to download an ordered set of 3D image sequence .

E.g., UCSB-IZC00012194 includes X images, Y of which are tagged with 3D image label. These Y images are packaged in a zip file:

Here is a list of the specimens that have 3D image sequences: UCSB-IZC00028367 UCSB-IZC00010405 UCSB-IZC00034469 UCSB-IZC00035429 UCSB-IZC00012194 UCSB-IZC00010279 UCSB-IZC00042555 UCSB-IZC00036317 UCSB-IZC00011226 UCSB-IZC00010327 UCSB-IZC00009053 UCSB-IZC00009834 UCSB-IZC00039728 UCSB-IZC00009812 UCSB-IZC00034457 UCSB-IZC00043071 UCSB-IZC00010475 UCSB-IZC00038769 UCSB-IZC00040428 UCSB-IZC00043071 UCSB-IZC00010430

The filename of the images includes 3d such as UCSB-IZC00009053_3d_2021-07-29-10.32.26.jpg

Different specimens will have different number of images

A sequence of multi-focal stacked images for 3D photogrammetry reconstruction

jhpoelen commented 1 year ago

@seltmann would you happen to have obj files associated to the specimen you have sequences of multi-focal stacked images for 3D photogrammetry reconstruction for?

@seltmann I just realized that the obj is the thing that your contributors are building . . . am curious to learn more about the way they publish their models. . . related to #10
