Social provision scale (SPS) is a 10-item scale, but it has recently been changed to a 5 item version in 2019. The 10 SPS items were available from 2011-2018. A derived function for SPS-5 has been created.
The Medical Outcome Study (MOS) Social Support Scale is a 20-item scale, and was previously used in CCHS from 2000-2012. However, the individual items were only available from 2007-2012. The 20 MOS items were added from 2007-2012.
Note: There is an overlap of MOS and SPS scales in 2011/2012 and 2012.
