Virtual machine won't start

I followed every step and it was all fine up until starting the vm. When I start it I get a black screen that says

[    OK    ] Started Virtualization daemon.
[    OK    ] Reached target Multi-User System.
[    OK    ] Reached target Graphical Interface.

When I get to this screen it hangs and I have to restart my computer

Now when I start it my monitor turns off and I can see HDD activity but it doesn't get past that
