PSX games freeze after returning from sleep mode #152

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Play a PSX game
2. Switch on power button to enter sleep mode.
3. Switch power button again to return from sleep mode

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expect to return from sleep mode and be able to resume playing the game. 
Instead, the PSX game freezes upon returning from sleep mode. This occurs when 
running the PSX game with popsloader and straight from the games menu without 
popsloader.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
6.20 Pro-B8 (non-permanent)
PSP 3001 3G TA-092. All plugins except popsloader disabled.

Please provide any additional information below.
Tested using the following PSX games: Chrono Cross, Romance of the Three 
Kingdoms VI, UFO Defense, Rising Zan: Samurai Gunman, and Gundam: Battle 
Assault.

This problem is still present in 6.20 Pro-B9 Beta. I've seen that this same 
problem has been found with 5.00 M33-6 in the past.

I'm having this same issue still.  I'm using 6.39 PRO-C on a PSP Phat 
(PSP1001), attempting to play Xenogears on pops-3.71

The issue only occurs when using pops 3.72 or below.  This issue is 
cross-posted on the popsloader project here: 
http://code.google.com/p/popsloader/issues/detail?id=4

Does anyone have a workaround for this?  Xenogears will only work on pops 3.71 
- otherwise other crashes happen.  I really hate to have to exit out of the 
game every time I put my PSP to sleep...

I have the latest revision on my psp slim and out of the 100+ psx games i have 
none of them crash in sleep mode.
