What did you edit? The files work fine by default unless you installed wrong or changed something

I install latest snapshot (pre-1071) of Epoch with verifySignatures = 0 and BattlEye = 0. try turning _wai off in config, especially if you don't have it installed. I used to get errors similar to this, and I believe it was from _wai. If you see my latest few pull requests, I also fixed the WAI compatibility if you are using the latest version of WAI.

I installed release 107, and then update it to current version from repo.

That may be your issue. Only use the 107 release, except if you are using coins see one of the first changes made after the release where there was a coin dupe fix, but for testing locally that's not important.
