Translation (Russian) in the app is so bad, I can't understand a thing. It also says that interface section in the options is supposed to give you a language option, but there isn't one.

I'm not sure torrent apps are really for people who need translation. Bad translation is always worse than no translation. Even with good translation, I personally always prefer original, if I understand it.

So please, please remove it or give the option to change the language.

Sorry to hear our Russian translation is bad. We rely on our users to do the translate and have no way of verifying the quality of translations.

Most apps rely on locale selection in Android OS settings and don't provide an option in-app. But then again, most apps have full and correct translations. :/ I'll look into how much work it is to add a language choice. There are a few apps out there that do it, so maybe I can steal some open source code :)

In the mean time, any help with the Russian translation is greatly appreciated. Anyone can translate the Android specific texts using https://crowdin.com/project/biglybt-android/ru (click on the Translate All, and create an account or log in). A few translations come from out desktop client, which is only 60% translated to Russian, and can be found at https://crowdin.com/project/biglybt/ru . Our desktop client translation requires approval, but we pretty much approve anyone willing to help.

To be honest, all the translations I've come across are a total pain. I just wish there was a way to always use the original language.
