Black Screen when attempting to show recent apps #7

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Show recent app (Both in portrait or landscape mode) 
2.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

Expected to see the wallpaper, a low opacity gray overlay and the     list of 
recent apps. Or Expected to see the wallpaper, the words "No recent apps".
Instead i saw the list of recent apps on a black screen, or the words "No 
recent apps" on a black screen

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

ASUS Nexus 7 (2013)
Android 4.4.2

Please provide any additional information below.
