Would you accept a PR that removes miners and mining productivity techs ?
Sure.
Would you be interested by techs that buff the bitters (decrease the spawning cool-down) or increase their loot to replace the mining productivity research ?
Buffing the biters already happens through evolution decreasing the spawning cooldown. I think that's more interesting than a research, especially because this mod is developed for up-to-rocket gameplay. Mining productivity research is more of a post-rocket pursuit.
Similar goes for spawning more loot.
Furthermore, spawning more loot with the same enemies would require runtime scripting, which I am not interested in adding. Part of my motivation for making this mod was to use only prototype stage functions (meaning noise expressions) to significantly modify map generation in an unconventional way.
OK, I'll only do the first PR then. You shouldn't expect to see it before the weekend though.
