Once you cycle between, using the Ctrl+Shift+Space and Ctrl+Shift+X shortcuts for opening Tabby will open Tabby in the current layout. You can also map these shortcuts differently: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/manage-extension-shortcuts-firefox
