[Bug] Regression: Build 1007's "remove adaptive text sizes" now results in song info truncated with ellipses. #284

Brief description of the issue:

Build 1007 included a note about adaptive text sizes being removed, but now this results in lots of song info being truncated on mobile phones, even standard screen sizes like the iPhone 12/13/14. I don't think this is an issue on larger screens like the iPad, or the Mac.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Start playing any song, any station.
  2. Skip until you see a song with title, artist, or album sufficiently long to cause it to be truncated.

Example:

The following metadata: Lips Like Sugar (12 inch mix) Echo & the Bunnymen Just Say Yes - Sire's Winter CD Music Sampler

Becomes truncated to this in the app: Lips Like Sugar (12...) Echo & the Bunnymen Just Say Yes - Sire's Wi...

Expected result:

Not sure, but I think a different solution needs to be considered. Like scrolling text, perhaps?

Actual result:

Song metadata is truncated.

Where did you see it? (App build version, device type and iOS version):

Build 1007, iPhone 12 Pro, iOS 16.5.1

(Where possible, please attach Please provide screenshots or error message text)

This was a team decision at HQ. The adaptive text was all over the place. We opted for truncation for consistency.

Would you consider a scroller for a future build, a la Apple Music? Or at least reducing the default size? The default is absolutely massive. Additionally, it does not respond to the "Text Size" setting in Display or Accessibility (it neither shrinks nor grows in response to that setting).
