Hola, desde hace unos días no puedo acceder por medio de mi idrive a la biblioteca de spotify, aparece "vacio", no carga nada, solo puedo reproducir música, no permite explorar. En la app androidautoidrive no tengo manera de habilitar: "ability to browse your spotify library" , tampoco puedo habilitar busqueda. Podeis ayudarme?. Gracias. Tengo instaladas las ultimás versiones de app My BMW y app androidautoidrive.

Good morning! When you say you can't enable "ability to browse your spotify library", does that mean the option doesn't show up, or the button doesn't do anything? If the option doesn't show up, then AAIdrive can't find the Spotify app at all. If the button doesn't open the Spotify app, it should add an error line saying what went wrong, but that may be buggy.

What version of Spotify do you have installed, is it the official version or a modded version? Depending on your phone's battery optimizations, you might need to allow Spotify to run in the background to allow the API authentication to work.

I think I have the same problem from time to time. The Library is just showing and no entrys in spotify. The button to request the ability to browse the library is shown, but nothing happens when you click on it. No error line is shown. What helps every time is to force close AAIdrive and open it again. Then browsing the library is possible again.

Thank you for the fantastic job on this app!

Unfortunately I have the same problem. I cannot search by any parameter either find my playlists.

When trying to grant permissions for browse spotify libraries, I see different behaviours: when clicking on the grant access button it does nothing or it indeed redirects to the login page, I do the login and then it just stays in a Spotify page with the options overview account and web player. I tried to return no the aaidrive app but the thick is not checked on the prmission. And if we try to repeat, is a loop.

Sometimes error messages appear or saying the result do not went on time or that spotify has not permission to run on second plan, which is not true.

Hmm interesting! Thank you for describing the behavior you are seeing! I haven't experienced this, myself. Can you share what version of Android you are running, and what Browser you are running on your phone?

Sure thing! So I'm using a Samsung s9+ which runs Android 10, and have two browsers installed: Samsung natives browser and Google chrome. If it helps I can try to record the screen.

Another things that I'm experiencing: the cover arts of the musica are not correctly updated, sometimes it shows the correct one, sometimes does not update to the following music, and the command to change the music directly through the steering wheel does not work when selecting a music from the list, only when clicking on "next" Not sure if it is supposed to, I'm new with this app :)

Those other symptoms are all unexpected and should definitely work. Is this just with Spotify or are you using other music apps as well? As a test of the steering wheel queue, you should experience the same behavior in the Now Playing screen.

Regarding the other problems, I’m using only Spotify. I can affirm that the Now Playing screen in the app have the covers updated, while in the car screen they are “delayed”. I can record this also if it helps. When using the steering wheel to change the music, it only works if we click on the “next” but if we choose an entry from the list, it does nothing. It is also not possible to push forward or back within the music, while pressing it.

Sure thing, just send it on to hufman+github@gmail.com That's good to know that Now Playing shows covers, those covers can only come through a specific Spotify API method so that method must be working. Please also share a recording of what you mean by "delayed". Can you select songs from this Now Playing list? The steering wheel's back/next does not support seeking, this is correct. The dashboard back/next buttons next to the numbered bookmarks does, by holding them down.
