MGU Head unit #9

Hi there,

Just tested this app out and can't seem to get it connected Tor a MGU Head unit. Can somebody confirm that it will only work on NBT or NBT Evo head unit?

As far as I know, IDrive 7 (used in MGU) does not enable the full BMW Apps protocol. I believe that version only has a very tiny API surface to allow the MyBMW app on Android to fetch the Wifi AP credentials for wireless Android Auto, but none of the rest of the Apps protocol seems to be available. I'd be curious to know if it can be coded back in, but otherwise there's nothing that can be done. What features do you want to use BimmerGestalt for, since your car supports both Carplay and Android Auto?
