Just upgraded Chatbox and saw the mandatory tray icon. I'm precious enough about tray icons that this puts me off using Chatbox at all. I appreciate some users may appreciate quick access functionality which would be a valid use of the system tray, almost as many (if not more?) would be surprised to discover an application hasn't actually closed on clicking the [X] in the title bar, especially when that was the previous behaviour.
Perhaps as a result of decades of abuse by typical Windows apps, my initial thought is "what code is running in this app that the developer wishes to stay running regardless of the user's choice?"
是的,希望赶紧取消强制托盘
Problem Description When clicking X to close the application, the application remains in the system tray, without an option to disable the system tray icon and close the application fully when clicking X. Proposed Solution Add an option to disable the system tray functionality, so users that want to fully close the application upon clicking X can do so if they have disabled hide to system tray.
