Would be nice to be able too do this. Any ideas?
That youtube guys say to 1000 tumbs up then he want to tell us how... Many tumbs down there lol... Its seem like find my drone led, maybe he shared edited video
No not a edited video. It was possible within DJI GO 4 app until v4.2.6. There was a lot of talk in a few forums about having this ability and in fact on this forum they even show picture where it is found in DJI GO 4 https://mavicpilots.com/threads/green-light-turned-off.35566/
So it was their once. Now how to get it back on our mod version 4.1.22??
So it is dji go4 app seting?v 4.2.6?
Yes it was found in camera setting on DJI GO 4 apo... Smart arm LEDs > status LEDs auto turn off, which also gives you the ability to turn off the "rear status light" as well. But DJI removed this feature in DJI GO 4 v4.2.6 +
Also talked about in this forum
What this mean for mavic air? Iam with mavic platinum with 4.1.22 from deejayeye-modder, can u please tell me what version dji go can turn off rear led?
You don't understand. This was a hidden feature that was apart of DJI GO 4app that was removed from DJI GO 4 from v4.2.6+. This feature worked for all DJI drones that used DJI GO 4 app.
Please tell me how? What version djigo4? I will find that version in aptoide apk
Well to best answer your questions I beileve from my research it was DJI GO 4 v4.1.3 to v4.2.4. But no one has every answer me back.
So, with 4.1.3 there is a button to switch off the rear led?
I don't know this is the range where I started looking. But if you ask me I believe it is more likely found in DJI GO 4 V4.1.18,4.1.22 OR ((4.2.5 (which for some reason can not be found anywhere OR is really v4.2.4)). But I can't test right now as my drone is apart because I am doing a MOD and waiting for my parts to come in.
If you read the post carefully and pay attention to the date of these posts in the forum it points to these versions of DJI GO 4. Actually reading this post gives the most clues... https://forum.dji.com/thread-132154-1-1.html
The date of this post is 2018-1-29 And this exact post point to what he did which is the 4th one down Wachtberger Posted at 2018-1-29 09:23
The information I found while researching this has lead me to believe it is this version of DJI GO 4 and firmware:
Mavic Pro Release Notes Date: 2018/01/11 Firmware: v01.04.0200 DJI GO 4 app iOS: v4.1.22 DJI GO 4 app Android: v4.1.22
And I don't see this in my modded version of 4.1.22 OR I did something wrong OR like the guy said in his post I have to do refreshing firmware, also doing a factory reset of the drone using assistant 1.22 (which I don't have or would use)
His POST... Yes I saw that thank you to Buzzyone and too you as well. They just put it up because I checked in the morning when I woke and it wasn't there . Sooo everything is fixed now after refreshing firmware on the new DJI assistant 2 1.2.2 ( which now properly recognizes the Mavic Air but not it's remote controller ) and also doing a factory reset of the drone using assistant as well the tailight led started working again , it now displays all the proper colors according to what it is doing, so yes I'm relief now lol.
Quick discovering i did , while going thru all my setting again since I wiped out everything with the factory reset, if you go into the camera settings there is a setting called smart arm led's there you can set your front led's to auto turn off when recording start or keep on etc, and also you can turn off or leave on the ( status led ) which is the taillight. So if you have a problem with the led's check camera settings under smart arm led's.
Wachtberger isn't your Mavic Air supposed to be delivered today ?
I search on camera seting there is only smart leg led turn off when recording, and no seting for tail light.refresh with asistant 21.2.2? Better not coz iam on mix firmware700 and 04300
Same here, I am mixed modded. But here is the thing, firmware version... 01.04.0300 is really for DJI GO 4 v4.2.6 I believe which does not support Smart Arm leds. So we would have to find the module in whatever firmware it was in and put it back in our "mixed modded" v01.04.0300. As I believe DJI GO 4 v4.1.22 will support Smat Arm leds.
Waiting for update, keep posting when you found
Why don't you try helping. I'm not going to post no more
One of my Asian friends was kind enough to give me this information. I am not as good as some of you with "code/coding". So maybe if some one was kind enough as well to help out.....here you go
I would like to thank anyone who is smart enough to pick up this torch and move forward with this project... As I can go no farther with this now...
U done?
Yes I am and hope someone is kind enough to figure this out as well as help out. My research is done.
Upload the video yt, video make easy to understand
I'm sorry, I don't understand what your talking about. Upload what video? I don't have any videos to upload.
Refers to this, u can totaly turn off rear led, now with super patcher, u can use variant of led, after flashing with this sp u will not see the rear led blinking, u can use front led if u want to see your drone in the sky when night, it very interesting, drone now stlealth,
Thank you for the information
First off I would like to thank all you guys and the very hard work you have put in to this project for DJI GO 4 v4.1.22. I am glad that I had the ability to do this myself and not worry about all the nasty malware/virus or whatever else other people would put into there modder version of DJI GO 4.Everything works as expected and love having "Google maps" back.
Now to the request at hand. I have been researching this for a few weeks now and know it is possible. Have read on many forums such as Mavic Piolts and DJI but no one is saying whether it is only for "Apple" or "Android" Which is found in camera setting on DJI GO 4. Smart arm LEDs > status LEDs auto turn off, which also gives you the ability to turn off the "rear status light" as well. But DJI removed this feature in v4.2.6
https://mavicpilots.com/threads/green-light-turned-off.35566/ Also on "YouTube" there is a Russian guy who actually shows that it works..
Watch "dji mavic turn off the rear flashing light!
https://youtu.be/t7_aXOkXExw
Is there anyway to gives us this ability on our modded DJI GO 4
