Siphone makes no attempt to connect to server

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Added username, password and server under settings, open siphon - can
not connect. looking at asterisk logs and cli, there is no attempt to even
conenct being made, other softphone (fring, zoiper) have no problems.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expected out come: a connection notice on asterisk console.
What I get? nothing at all.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Siphon v2.0.1 asterisk 1.6, or 1.4.22
