I am trying to pass my mobile number in the "contact" field but without luck.
I use voipcheap.com as my sip provider
Ive tried the following formats :-
07xxxxxxxxxx
+447xxxxxxxxxx
447xxxxxxxxxxxx
00447xxxxxxxxxxxx
and all the above with "@voipcheap.com" at the end.

I know voipcheap allows this because I was able to do it successfully on my
Nokia N95.

Any Help would be appreciated

Thanks in advance

I think is the same issue that issue 115 and issue 134 resolved in 2.0.3.
You can look in log file (detailed level) to look if the from and contact
fields are
correctly defined.
If not, could you describe settings and result ?

I just figured it out: Put the number you have already registered with
voipcheap (or
another betamax clone like voipbuster) in the 0044xxxx format in 'Username'.
Then, in
the advanced settings, put your voipcheap username (without @...) in the Auth
Username field. Presto. And thanks for the brilliant programme.

Maybe something to put in the table.

@santen under issue 134 I've described my problem and added log files. It's
basically
I tried what worked for you, and what was actually fixed on issue 115, but it
still
doesn't work.

I've also tried many variations I could think of, using "auth username", "user
name"
and "contact info" fields, with values from "00xxyyyyyyyy" number formats with
and
without "@sip.voipraider.com" and user names, but none worked.

Only thing that will allow me to place a call is having user name as my user
name. If
I put anything else there, it authenticates, but doesn't let me place a call,
even if
the auth username field has my username properly set.

I could see on the logs that each setting would change fields over there, but I
couldn't identify why having this behavior.

Anyway, I'm also thankful for this amazing software, even if this can`t be
fixed for
me. Thanks!
