The FDO metadata profiles are being developed to accommodate the variety of digital objects that people are working with in the pDTs (see the Discussions tab for the current status). While they are provided through different formats and examples, a proper metadata profile still needs to be developed.
RO-Crate Profiles will be receiving some interesting developments in the upcoming 1.2 version, and given the widespread use of RO-Crate within and beyond BioDT, they are a good candidate for this.
