Show children geographic terms for "accepted" geographic terms in dropdown lists #1647

When you enter a not "accepted" version of a geographic term (e.g., USA) into a field (e.g., country), and then you go to the children geographic term field (e.g., stateProvince), the dropdown list does not show anything. I think the user should be able to see all the dropdown options for the accepted version of the geographic term.

I'm not sure I understand this issue. Can you add a screenshot, or maybe we can quickly chat about this at our next dev meeting?

themerekat commented 2 months ago

There is no dropdown menu if you enter USA for the country image

Thank you for adding screenshot. This issue never mentions that the occurrence editor, and thus I was assuming that the issue was associated with the geographic thesaurus management interface.
