[Bug]: Versioning changes in skeletal file uploader creates fake edits #226

What happened?

When I uploaded a skeletal file containing only catalog numbers and scinames, the versioned changes in the Review/Verify Edits table look like this: image It looks like values of month, day, and year were added/changed, but this is not the case. Perhaps this is because the date is re-parsed, even when the date is not changed? Also, the edits to "sciname" and "scientificnameauthorship" are listed as "NOT APPLIED", even though these edits did go through.

This is happening in the NEON Biorepository portal, as well, for at least a couple of weeks now. https://github.com/BioKIC/NEON-Biorepository/issues/327
