CSAMA 2020 sticker #106

I've started playing around with a sticker for this year's CSAMA workshop. The main question now is which background color to use. I have 3 options:

1) light blue CSAMA2020

2) "sky" blue CSAMA2020_SummerSky

3) darker blue CSAMA2020_SanMarino

My favorite is 3), which reflects most the deep blue sky we have up in the mountains but I'm a little afraid it might be a little too dark. Version 1) is the one I like the least.

Happy for any feedback @mtmorgan @wolfganghuber @lgatto @csoneson @mikelove et al.

2 is amazing!

jorainer commented 4 years ago

that might be a nice compromise between 3 and 1 :)

Hi Johannes, @jorainer

This looks great! At first glance I didn't see the Bioconductor note. Perhaps you can add a touch of green to make the note stand out?

I like the darker one too (3)! I guess the "darkness" depends on how it looks like when printed. Sometimes they are printed in a lighter tone.

Thanks for doing this!

BTW what software are you using? I'd like to draw some stickers for my packages.

I would keep the Bioc note as a regular cloud - it was on purpose that the note does not stick out - it's supposed to be very subtle ;)

re software: I'm using this board and Artrage for the coloring of the drawing.

I printed all of them (on a color laser printer) and 2) indeed looks best there (not too dark, not too bright), so I'll add that one.

They all look great to me, 2 maybe best. Wolfgang

you even managed to draw a biologically correct helix made of clouds?... WOW!!

jorainer commented 4 years ago

Seems we're now happy with the sticker, so I close the issue.
