I like the second one, but then it's not clear what the package is doing; thus I vote for the first.
I actually prefer the second one.
Pacman id funny, but you could also insert an icon of a cleaver, for example https://image.freepik.com/free-icon/meat-cleaver_318-56018.jpg.
PS - no idea why the text is cut. Will try to figure out though.
I also like the second one and perhaps you want to cut after "cleav" and have "er" falling off. I would also make the package name a bit more bright.
I prefer the second one too. Since this is the most popular, I included it in the gallery on the main page.
@sgibb, the sticker seems to be slightly smaller than the other stickers. Can you please fix?
@jotsetung of course. Currently I am very limited in time so I won't be able to fix it in the next week. I am going to use the second version and convert the code to use hexSticker
. I also want to follow @lgatto 's suggestion and replace the pacman with an abstract cleaver (knife/axe).
Ok, here is the new version:
I add some stickers for the
cleaver
package but I am unsure which one is the best. Any votes?I tried to use the
sticker
package but then the "logo" was cut at the margins:I have absolutely no experience with
ggplot2
. I would be very happy if someone could help me to fix the code so I can remove my owncleaver_sticker.R
andcleaver_sticker2.R
and use thesticker
correctly: https://github.com/jotsetung/BioC-stickers/blob/master/cleaver/cleaver_sticker3.R(initially I wanted to draw a cleaver but drawing circles was much easier ...)
