Sticker for EuroBioc2017 #42

Ideas, comments etc for a BiocSticker for EuroBioc2017 (https://bioconductor.github.io/EuroBioc2017/).

Would be nice to have something in the background that is specific to Cambridge - @lgatto any suggestions? In the meantime I made a quick sketch of the Kings College Chapel - could use that in the bg?

Very nice! King's college chapel is indeed one of the typical images for Cambridge.

Could also be the mathematical bridge.

would color the DNA differently.

This is great! Could you share it explicitly under CC-BY so that it could be reuses it elsewhere?

OK, now, colors etc: A) eurobioc2017

B) eurobioc2017

C) eurobioc2017

For the colors, I used yellow and red because it seems to be the colors of the ucam.

Any suggestions, requests etc are highly welcome, also from the other organizers!

Red and yellow is what you find on the coat of arms, but Cambridge's colour (in sport, at least) is actually a light blue (but not navy, that's Oxford ;-)) - there's even a Wikipedia page.

Otherwise, I do prefer the white background.

OK, then I'll try with Cambridge blue - and yes, I do also like option A) (white bg).

Although it's pretty dark I like option A) the most (the bridge and DNA is more visible there)... you should have a look at them in smaller scale one next to the other.

I like them all, but A is pretty cool indeed.

I'll try a dark one with a less dark grey - this one is pretty dark when printed :(

@jotsetung - how would you like us to proceed with the ordering? I could see if there is a way for me or one of the organisers to order it an get it paid by the conference funds.

Re ordering, I have no preference, I let you decide. If you can get back the money even better. my only request - can I get two stickers please ;)
