EuroBioc2019 sticker

Very first draft of the sticker for the EuroBioc2019 meeting in Brussels:

the idea is to show the atomium and one of the spheres being the Bioconductor note.

Just want to get some initial feedback before I start doing serious stuff. @lgatto , @mtmorgan (who else is on the committee?)

Also, are there any specific colors associated with Brussels I should/could use? @lgatto?

If you look at the flag of the city, you'll see blue and yellow.

Also, the emblem of the region is a yellow iris, which is possibly also a idea.

Re colours, there's also the blue and white from the UCLouvain. I should be able to find the official colour hex codes.

Very cool, I like this! Only thing may be that I got the feeling that the top sphere had eyes...

That's the windows that are in some spheres - but I can also drop them to avoid confusions :)

Oh, right, I had not noticed that it had windows :) my first thought was DNA... Actually I get the same feeling when I look at the real one, so that's probably a good thing!

the text seems to interfere with the image; what about making the text smaller and on the edge opposite www.bioc.org and let the image 'speak for itself' mostly?

I have now version 1 with lightblue

and version 2 with blue (same as the BioC2019 NYC sticker)

Maybe it’s just the winter mood, but I like the sky of version 1 more. It gives more contrast to the atomium and roads.

That said version 2 looks great too!

I’m always so excited seeing new stickers, especially conference limited editions 😊

Agree with Kevin that these are both great, and that it's really fun to see the stickers develop. I like the lighter sky, too. My final 'armchair artist' suggestion might be to center rather than 'left align' the www..., which seems more consistent with the way EuroBioc2019 spans the width of the edge -- I like how there's a tension between the text and the image in terms of which way is up.
