I think it’s generally advised to have the serial/Oxford comma, especially as it is standard in many citation formats afaik. I suppose it could be a feature request to toggle it off by choice, but it’s generally correct to have it I think https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Serial_comma
Oh thanks for putting a name on this @almahmoud (Oxford comma) and for providing the link! A couple of years ago I started to use the Oxford comma quite systematically in my own documentation (e.g. https://github.com/Bioconductor/SparseArray/blob/a8723c69ad45a3cf37ed57ffa713354cfb914d0a/man/COO_SparseArray-class.Rd#L66) but was not sure if this was actually considered correct. And I had no idea how to Google it. I feel good now :wink:
hi there, just noticed that there is an extra comma after the second last author while you have multiple authors, is it possible to remove that? I've noticed the same thing with the title for biocstyle manual too. Thanks!
