Title: Status and opportunities in interactive apps with Bioconductor

Plan: This birds of a feather will be an open discussion and sharing of ideas on interactive apps with Bioconductor: What challenges exist for building/maintaining/finding interactive apps? What templates/support are available? How to find existing apps, which packages use them? What resources should be publicised/built? Developers, users and all interested welcome! We hope to continue discussion and action beyond EuroBioc2022 with conversation in the “#shiny” channel in the Bioconductor slack channel.

• igvR connects R session to igv.js in the browser, interactivity preserved on both sides, using bioc package BrowserViz
• igvShiny, not currently in Bioconductor, is a Shiny widget, wrapping igv.js
