SIG: unleashing Bioconductor for large-scale single-cell 'omics data analysis #4

Open LTLA opened 6 years ago

LTLA commented 6 years ago

In this session, we will discuss potential projects to improve the R/Bioconductor infrastructure for the analysis of large single-cell 'omics data sets. Projects can focus on any stage of the process, from end-users (e.g., developing workflows and streamlining documentation for Bioconductor-driven single-cell analyses) to developers (e.g., improving the performance of existing Bioconductor data structures or algorithms). For each project, we would like participants to provide a description of the work to be performed, some guidelines and deliverables that could be tackled collaboratively.

Depending on the progress of this session, we could consider drafting a opinion piece to be submitted to F1000Research to gather further input and contributions from the community.

Participants wishing to join this SIG should indicate their interest with a +1. For people who won't be able to attend the meeting but would like to contribute, feel free to use this issue to suggest ideas.
