It appears prot2D can not be installed because its CRAN dependency samr has been removed from CRAN. https://cran.r-project.org/web/packages/samr/index.html

Can the package list be updated to not include?

I have reached out to the prot2D package to report this issue.

Release proteomics continues to fail - now because of spliceSites - they are using rbamtools which is no longer available
