Broken links in course materials #264

I suppose the immediate strategy is to remove the links and provide plain text. This table is returned by an online auto checker to find links that are dead (scroll to the right to see Anchor Text):

thanks for putting this list together. at least several of these I can update to be active again. I can investigate next week
