I guess this depends on whether current Bioconductor packages use python2, and I don't know that, sorry...

Don't think they do, based on the BBS docs. But I've tested it with the packages, and it looks good to me. Making a couple more changes.

We don't have python 2 on the linux builders. We have python 3 invoked via python3. I'll review this and get back to you shortly.
