Review Research Data Management Policies in Africa

Most institutions do not have research data management as a priority area. And in instances where it is a priority, many still do not know where to start. Most of the templates or policies available are from well-established institutions able to provide infrastructure support — they support the researchers through the whole data life-cycle. That's a quote from my last article. I am keen to get insights into research data management policies in Africa:

• [ ] Get a list of research data management policies (RDMP) in Africa, which institutions have one?
• [ ] Identify a common theme and outline of the RDMP
• [ ] How open are the policies
• [ ] When were the policies prepared, updates
• [ ] Write a short article on the topic
