There are two more duplicates in the locations table
The spatial index builder would have to be re-run to update the location_ids
fields in both the sample and occurrence caches. (or a custom query would have to be run to remove the deleted location Id, taking in to account that older records may need updating to add in the new id.)
Note, the issue applies to all users of warehouse1.indicia.org.uk and is not confined to iRecord.
This is not a major issue, since we don't promote iRecord for use in Eire, but there is a problem with one of our VC boundaries.
On iRecord, there is an entry for "Mid Cork" and for "Mid-Cork". The second of those (with the hyphen) is correct, and has the seaward extension. I assume the first can be deleted from the VC table.
The inclusion of the hyphen is also consistent with the names used here: https://github.com/SK53/Irish-Vice-Counties/tree/master/vice_counties
Will any re-indexing be required once we remove the incorrect boundary?
