I think I've muddled something here but I'm not sure how!
A user accidentally created an account with the wrong email address (.cim not .com) in iRecord, I went to change it so they would get the activation email but couldn't as there was already a user id with that email address in Indicia (created through NPMS - 150238) and the .cim account now belonged to a new user id (376049).
Seeing as the user had never had access I thought it would be simpler for me to create a new account with the correct address (rather than ask for the accounts to be merged). I did this using the Add User link at the top of the people table in iRecord. However this still produced the error saying that the email already belonged to a user, and the new iRecord account now has the user id 0.
I think the simplest solution would be to delete the 0 account and then ask the user to create a new account via the usual sign up page, which should attach to the NPMS user id correctly, but I just wanted to check that this wouldn't cause extra issues first?
I've fixed the account so it is usable again with ID 150238. You may want to reset the password though as I had to change it to try and get it working.
