Sensitive species 4: liaise with external website admins

Liaise with other website admins/data warehouse users to alert them that the national blurring will be applied to their data, unless they provide an alternative workflow specification for their own dataset – this may also provide an opportunity for schemes to raise any issues that need addressing by NE for the national sensitive species lists.

@johnvanbreda can you confirm that this is what we are proposing:

• Sensitivity settings based on the national lists will be applied to all records displayed within iRecord, unless the source website has implemented its own workflow for sensitive species.
• If a source website wishes to do something different to the national lists, it will need to provide us with the list of species and the required sensitivity settings, and we will implement a workflow for that website.
