NPMS records without verification status #419

The warehouse 'website' for the National Plant Monitoring Scheme has seven surveys, three of which are "inactive" (survey IDs 88, 89 and 229). At least one of those surveys (ID 229) contains records, and many (not all) of those records currently have no verification status, i.e. they are not showing up as "not reviewed", their verification status is null.

These 'null verification' records were getting included in the NPMS export to NBN, which in itself seems odd (I would have thought the filter should exclude records without any verification statrus?).

@sacrevert tells me that they are genuine records, but pre-date the full establishment of NPMS and therefore need to be excluded from the NBN export process, which I have done.

However, these records seem to be in limbo as far as verification is concerned. Is it possible to:

  1. Bring them into the verification process and apply the auto-verification in the same way as used for other NPMS records?
  2. Or if the auto-verification cannot be carried out, can they all be marked as "not reviewed" so that they can be picked up by verifiers in the normal way?

Judging by the NBN export there are around 11.500 records with null verification status in survey ID 229.

@sacrevert as far as I know the above records are still in limbo - should we do anything about this?

I'm happy for them to be be marked as not reviewed if the consequences you note above remain true. They should still be excluded from the NPMS exports though of course. I assume that, if marked as such, they will just be included with other generic NBN exports at some point (if verified).
