Missing years #189

Hi

Greeting from the sMon workshop in Leipzig where I am telling people about your sparta package. I am quickly trying to run some analysis on fish data where the time-series is not continuous (i.e, some years there is no data at all). Sparta seems to be crashing. Am I making a mistake or does sparta need continuous yearly data? I thought I might try to add some NA rows to the years with missing data maybe.

Any quick help appreciated.

Hi Diana, Hope the workshop is going well! I think sparta only works in its current form if you have data in all years. You can run the model on for years that don't have data but you can't have gaps in the middle. Not sure if NAs in between would help or not. @drnickisaac correct me if I am wrong!
