htmlSummary #238

Thanks for the pointer to this Tom - I'm liking it.

Very minor point, but when running htmlSummary, the value for "## Number of sites with records of species name:" is not filled. Something to do with Occ_viz_html.Rmd L39 cat(paste('Number of sites with records of', paste0(results$SPP_NAME, ':'), results$species_sites), '\n')

Also, my traceplots for Other parameters are massively elongated (>3 screen heights). They appear fine in the reproducible example that you provided. I've had a look at the code in Occ_viz_html.Rmd and I think that it must be something in L97, but haven't got my head round how that works yet or whether I can get the function to work locally rather than through the template.

Hi @AJacksonMCS,

Thanks for reporting this, and I'm sorry it's taken very long for someone to reach out to you.

The function has not modified since you raised this issue, but I can't reproduce your errors.

when running htmlSummary, the value for "## Number of sites with records of species name:" is not filled.

I can see the number of sites. By any chance, do you still have the code that reproduces the error. I see the number of sites Is there a slim chance that you still have the code to reproduce this issue or the saved output of occDetFunc?

my traceplots for Other parameters are massively elongated

Are the graphs individually elongated or is the figure long because there are numerous graphs (due to multiple figures)?

Thanks

Hi Dylan, Thanks for getting back to me. I've not been in this code for a couple of years now so can't recall all the details. With the traceplots, it was each plot that was massively elongated (rather than there being lots of plots). The next time I use sparta, I'll keep my eyes open for the number of sites errors.

Cheers, Angus
