Transforming and testing new plant strains - whether artificially selected or genetically engineered - takes a very long time in the field (up to 11 months for one generation). New techniques are speeding this up to just a few months but require strict environmental controls that can be very expensive to achieve. The aim of this project is to build a low cost environmentally controlled chamber for plant growth.
Please note this is a similar project to #19 and the two may end up working together!
