Hi Christie ! We are going to build a micro-fluidic sensor that will be using fluorescence for measuring protein synthesis in biological liquids. We badly need someone with your expertise. Would you be interested to join our team? Maxim mr579@cam.ac.uk

Hi Maxim. Your project certainly sounds very interesting. We are also looking for a microfluidics application to test a flow system we're working on, so this might suit both of us. My free time might be limited, but we should have a chat. If you have any associated papers I can read through in the meantime that would be great. christie.nel@gmail.com

Hi Christi !

Sound good. Thank you for the quick response. I have attached a paper, which we could be used as an example. The authors were using a bacterial protein synthesis system. In the beginning, we also could use the same (and even copy it) to work out the chip design. But at a later stage we would like to switch to a mammalian system and then to the whole blood samples - we are in the Department of Haematology so could have access to clinical samples in the case we start to work on a commercial device.

Cheers, Maxim

Hi Maxim. I don't see any attachments. Perhaps you could email the paper to me directly?

what's your email address?

Cyberius commented 7 years ago

My email is in my first reply. But I got the PDF in your previous reply. Cheers.

Hi Christie, Would you be interested in helping out in another project? We really need help with voltage sensing and digital display. The idea involves sensing the differences in membrane potential that happens during certain cellular events using ion sensing electrodes. If you are interested please get in touch with me at jyotsna.rao@cruk.cam.ac.uk Thanks, Jyotsna
