Culturing tumour cells across a temperature gradient #4

Open jcmolloy opened 7 years ago

Mild variations in local temperatures in tumour tissues might be associated with differences in invasiveness of tumours. But currently, there are not many affordable models to maintain a temperature gradient in cell culture systems and to detect what is the response to cells to chemotherapy in terms of change in temperature (very subtle differences) and whether an existing mild temperature gradient might make the cells respond differently to chemotherapy. So, I need someone to be able to help me with building something that can help me culture cells in a very mild temperature gradient. It needs to be small enough to fit on small bench top. Any sensors to detect very small changes in temperature are very welcome.
