While we could keep using the reflective tape for auto-alignment and scoring, it would be much better to use the april tags on the field. If we could figure out how to do that, our robot could have a constant understanding of where it is on the field as well as a very good auto-alignment system when scoring.
The April Tag Recognition now works perfectly on the Limelight 2+ after today's troubleshooting. The issues all along were:
The Limelight software was out of date and we had to update it via USB→MicroUSB cable and Balena Etcher. This gave us April Tag capabilities as well as several others.
"Sophos Endpoint Agent" antivirus software was installed on the computers we were using, so the livestream would not be accepted by the computer. This was uninstalled by the tech administration and now works perfectly.
