'Kept for later' bug? #64

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
I right click in the search tag line to select my 'kept for later' tags.
after selecting one, it does not appear in the line.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
worked perfectly before.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
3.0.4 on W7

Please provide any additional information below.
A nice and easy way to manage those kept for later tags would be welcome too:
an easy way to delete them.
an easy way to include new one (right now, the only way I know to insert a new
'KFL' is to open an image window, and right lick a tag)
would be nice to be able to simply input them directly, or get them from the
search tab line
(same for favorite)

I'm starting to believe that nothing works in the program xP
I fixed it for the 3.1.0, thanks for reproting this one.

> an easy way to delete them.
I'll think about this, but I can't see any user-friendly way to do it. Until,
you can edit the list directly in the file located at
"%USERPROFILE%\Grabber\viewitlater.txt".

> would be nice to be able to simply input them directly, or get them from the
search tab line
I agree with this, I'll add the "Right click on a tag > keep for later /
favorite" feature :)

"%USERPROFILE%\Grabber\viewitlater.txt".

Text file is simple enough for me.
but for integrating it in the program:
I think about a tab like for the favorite, but only with text and a few option
(search tag, delete, edit, add, etc)
but what I think would be most usefull, is a seperated window (like the
downloading windows) but always over the main windows (or maybe an option to
keep it over or not). that way, if we have a long list, we can easily
manipulate the list, see results, delete the tags no longer needed, while
having an access to the main board.

PS:
about right click : I have 1 request.
I often use right click option for copy and paste. when I try to paste some
text I copyed, I can not do that in the search tab : it always annoy me (need
to leave the mouse to do some ctrl+v, quite an annoyance for peoples like me)

pps : still lot of studies left? ^^

I think I see what you want (attached file). These two boxes can be docked to
the side of the window or float over it. Did I understand you correctly?

For your suggestion, I have no objections, so I'll add Copy/Cut/Paste in the
context menu in the next version :)

I just have to finish a RTS game for the 22th of february :)

thank god for that paste option coming in the future version (in 10 years,
right ;P )

as for the kept for ltaer windows : yes, something like that. your proposal is
even better than what i thought, since it can be 'docked' (nice ;) )

studying rts? are you in some video game school or just playing (you lazy ...
;P )

ps : playing Aliens:Infestation right now on my ds

I hope it won't take that long xP

Okay, so I'll use docks for the KfL, and I think I'll use them for the tags
too, instead of the current splitter.

> studying rts? are you in some video game school
I'm in an IT engineer school and that's part of our homework :)

Is A:I a good game ?

A:I is agood game, but it is a bit rough around the edge (certainly low budget,
small time for devellopement)
but as it is, it provide a fun experience, even if you feel that some aspect
could have been better.
it is some kind of metroid in alien environment.

studying pathfinding, and environment interaction,
thats interesting!!
good luck with those.
