Fading doesn't work for the Flash show on IE7, IE8

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Visit the http://www.electricprism.com/aeron/slideshow/ and go to the 
Flash show demo.
2. On firefox, the images fades in nicely.
3. On IE7/8, the images just goes from one to another w/o fading.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The fading transition in between images is not working.  This seems to 
apply to the flash show, push show, and kenburns show.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system and 
browser?
IE7, IE8 on Windows XP.

Please provide any additional information below.
Firefox and Chrome seem fine.

Tested with the mootools.html in the current version in Github.
