Repeated image requests

Hi

We've seemed to have stumbled upon a glitch on Slideshow 2.
To me and my team this is a great piece of code and it displays exactly as
we wanted to. And besides it uses our favorite javascript framework.

The thing is, while analyzing the requests made by the html page on Firefox
3.5 (with firebug) using your script, we've realized that it constantly
keeps making requests for the images it needs. Is this a normal behavior of
it? Because I've noticed this doesn't happen in Safari...
