Terribly slow in IE6 #48

My implementation of Slideshow 2! takes about 30 seconds to load in IE6,
while in every other browser (IE7, ff3, safari) it loads very fast.

What can I do to make it faster in IE6?

I set the loader to false, and now it works just fine.
