Slideshow doesn't work with Smarty #53

Title says it all. 

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Try installing the slideshow on any page that uses Smarty as a template
engine.  It does NOT work--the show is invisible, but you can see there is
some action going on... the slideshow just does NOT display itslef properly.   

I'm using the lastest version of the product, Windows OS, FF3.   

Any ideas what's going on? Once again: the slideshow is beng executed, but
it's invisible.  Too bad.

Could you please post a link where I could see this. Basically whatever you are 
using
in the backend has no affect on Slideshow. The only thing that could affect the
script would be conflicts with doctype (HTML), other stylesheets (CSS) or other
javascripts.
