IE Images Jumping #57

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Load the demo page in IE 6
2. Watch the slideshow demo
3. After every few transitions the image will distort or skip

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expect a straight forward slideshow. Instead, it skips every 3rd
transition or so.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system and
browser?
The version of the slideshow currently on the demo page.
WinXP
IE Version 6.0.2900.2180.xpsp_sp2_gdr.050301-1519

The system works perfectly in Firefox.

Please provide any additional information below.

I have the same issue, but it is a combination of IIS 6.0 and IE6. When I use a
Linux host, there is not problem using any browser.

However, when I host the pages on IIS 6.0, the slides stutter, and pause...,
plus
when an image slides off, there is no underlying image.

Doing a page refresh fixes the problem.

Hm.. I'd wager to say this is a problem outside the scope of Slideshow.. it is
unlikely I could fix problems with IIS using Javascript alone.

I really don't think it's an IIS issue. I expect it is more to do with IE6.
When I
had the issue it was IE6 with XP SP2 installed. I'll test it when I get access
to
more up to date IE6.

We are experiencing a somewhat jumpy pan effect using the kenburns effect. Any
suggestions for smoothing it out would be welcome.
