IE7 example 5 every other image fails to fade

1. Run example 5 in  IE7 or IE8 in compatibility mode

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
every other image fails to fade

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system and 
browser?
Slideshow2r147.zip 
IE8 in compatibility mode
