pxsim.serial.writeBuffer is not a function error #1

Reported to microb:bit support #5461

Adding a Get sensor on port block produces this error

It may reference this error which you reported on pxt and which the MS team provided a fix for

I believe this is a mirror of the issue the MS team fixed for writeBuffer, which was caused by a missing shim function. I can replicate it with the standard makecode serial blocks. I do not know how to implement the fix. image
