Make snapshot downloads optional after Desktop Wallet upgrades #1287

Snapshot download after upgrades

Is your request related to a problem? Please describe.

It is very time consuming to download a snapshot after an upgrade even when this is not necessary.

Describe the solution you'd like:

Make the snapshot download optional with a simple check.

Describe alternatives you've considered:

Stopping the Desktop Wallet shortly after the snapshot download started and restarting the Desktop Wallet seems to work but this could change at any time and risks more issues.
